The madness for English

You and I are part of a worldwide movement.  Millions of people are learning English.  How does that make you feel?  Good?  Aha….watch this little gem, and see how you feel afterwards.  It’s only a couple of minutes.  Go on …

Scary, huh? And nice to hear that English isn’t killing all the poor little native languages off or allowing the USA to take over the world.  Makes a change.   Best thing is, when we all drag ourselves back to work in what I hope will be a long, long time, we have our first lesson ready.  This will be the perfect cue to discuss motivation, objectives, past classroom experience (?!) and all that jazz.  Then you can spot check your new students’ command of numbers and countries by having them listen again and make a note of the ones they hear.  Perfect.

In the meantime, enjoy the peace and quiet.
